Julien and Giahna Soles-Hunt, recently attended the 2024 Meritas Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. The Annual General Meeting is where member firms from 244 markets worldwide collaborate, share knowledge, and discuss advancements in the legal industry.  

Julien, whose legal practice areas include aspects of residential and commercial property sales and financing transactions, and Soles-Hunt, whose legal practice areas include civil and commercial litigation, gained valuable insights from discussions and workshops on diverse practice areas, including sports, tax, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and manufacturing.

This year, Meritas introduced the Meritas Women’s Leadership Awards, which recognized notable achievements in advancing women’s roles in the legal profession. The awards spotlighted exceptional women for their contributions to the legal field, celebrating their leadership, mentorship, and pioneering efforts in diversity and inclusion.
