Patrick joined Glinton Sweeting O’Brien in 2007 as Director of Finance and Operations. He has an extensive background in the financial sector, having served as Chief Internal Auditor at the National Insurance Board, Financial Controller at a top local law firm, and as a partner at Grant Thornton (Bahamas) Chartered Accountants & Management Consultants.

Patrick performs a comprehensive range of financial services and support including preparing financial reports, management reports, evaluating business and investment opportunities, administration and support for industry specialized softwares, and liaising with banks and regulators.

The accounting profession in the Bahamas has also benefitted from Patrick’s active participation as a two time Council member of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants, having served both times as Chairman of its Continuing Education Committee.

Patrick works closely with organizations focusing on the well-being of the youth in the Bahamas. He is the Chairman of the government-appointed Visiting Committee of the Simpson Penn Centre for Boys (SP Centre), a rehabilitative facility for wayward boys between the ages of 11-17. In this capacity he leads the Committee in the planning of activities, events and presentations for the boys as part of their rehabilitation efforts.
