As part of the Ride for Hope’s fundraising efforts for the prevention and treatment of cancer in The Bahamas, Glinton Sweeting O’Brien (GSO), a boutique law firm, is continuing its association with the event through sponsorship, volunteering and entering a team.
GSO supports a variety of local causes with special focus on the fight against cancer, the arts, education and the environment. The company’s attorneys and staff have actively participated in the Ride for Hope since 2006 and will join riders of all ages and capabilities for the start at Goodman’s Bay Park at 7am on Sunday.
“Our firm got involved with the Ride for Hope because we strongly support the ride’s underlying goals of improving cancer education, detection, prevention and treatment in The Bahamas,” said GSO partner, Roy Sweeting. “It’s been very gratifying to watch the RFH grow into a substantial, successful and transparent fund-raising event that our firm knows is a valuable cause, with the bonus of it being a fun team-building exercise.”
On Sunday, GSO will have a team of riders comprised of the partners, attorneys, friends and family participating in the Ride and a tent at the Clifton Heritage site, where their team of volunteers will actively encourage participants.
