GSO Partner, Linda Beidler-D’Aguilar with other roundtable members at the Private Wealth Latin America & Caribbean Forum held in Miami on October 17 – 18th.

At the Private Wealth Latin America & Caribbean Forum held in Miami on October 17-18, the Bahamas Financial Services Board, led by CEO & Executive Director, Tanya McCartney facilitated a roundtable discussion which focused on “Relocation: Why the Bahamas.” Linda Beidler-D’Aguilar of Glinton Sweeting O’Brien and Nick Damianos of Damianos Sotheby’s Realty who represent BFSB member firms, gave attendees key information on why The Bahamas is attractive for financial services and investment. They focused on living and working in the Bahamas, emphasising the expertise available to support family offices and the quality of life for those who reside in The Bahamas. At the end of the Forum, Ms. McCartney noted that “The Bahamas received very positive feedback from delegates. There was high interest in the products and services that we offer to support private wealth management. We expect many follow up meetings with international intermediaries as a result of the dialogue at the forum.”
