In the aftermath of catastrophic back to back Hurricanes Eta and Iota, GSO wondered how best to assist people in Guatemala and Honduras. With first hand knowledge of World Central Kitchen’s ability to prepare and distribute nourishing and tasty meals for large numbers of persons in disaster areas (GSO attorneys and staff spent a day assisting WCK following devastating Hurricane Dorian in 2019), GSO reached out to Erin Gore, VP of Development for WCK, to make a $5,000 donation. Erin thanked us for the “incredible’ support, noting that “our teams in Guatemala and Honduras are cheering and sharing gratitude too.” GSO is proud that it is able to assist an organization that has made and continues to make a hugely positive contribution to relief efforts in both countries.
