GSO is proud to announce that its $2,000 donation to the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation was the basis of a scholarship awarded to Ms. Charity Knowles, a sixth-grade student at Emma Cooper Primary School in Palmetto Point, Eleuthera. Charity was grateful for the assistance provided toward her entry into the high school ranks and is enthusiastic to be moving up to the next level in her scholastic career. At age ten she is an accomplished novelist, having already published a book entitled “Mother Nature’s Daughter” (ISBN Press). GSO extends its best wishes to Charity in her future academic and civic endeavors.
GSO continues to steadfastly align with local organizations which provide scholarships, resources, and programs to improve the educational opportunities for the benefit of young Bahamians.
