Fight Against Cancer
Every year Roy leads GSO in the Ride for Hope, an annual event of which GSO is a major sponsor. The Ride For Hope is a charity bike ride that raises funds and awareness for the early detection, treatment and prevention of cancer in The Bahamas.
Roy is also a strong advocate for education, one of GSO’s key focus areas in the community, and would like to see vast improvements in the public education system to better our society. GSO contributes to various scholarship funds as part of these ongoing efforts.
