Elton L. Gibson
Elton L. Gibson was called to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in 2007. He began his legal career in the corporate department of a boutique law firm where he later specialized in the areas of Probate and Estate Administration and Conveyancing. He continued to gain proficiency in these areas until he left the firm to join the Central Bank of the Bahamas, where he served as a Senior Officer in the Exchange Control Department. During his tenure at the Central Bank, Elton relied heavily on his legal experience and skill to review and approve financial transactions concerning inward and outward investments of a portfolio and direct nature, offshore financing, and other commercial and personal transactions involving the regulation of capital flows to and from The Bahamas.
His most recent experience as a regulator gives him a unique appreciation of regulations and policies pertaining to cross-border transactions and how they impact the personal and commercial aspirations of clients.
